We welcome our stud manager, Barry Godbolt who commenced employment with Adameluca Angus at the start of November 2013.
Barry brings with him a wealth of experience in the cattle industry.
Previously employed by Charnock Hereford & Poll Hereford Stud for 23 years as Manager, he has enjoyed great success in the Show & Sale ring. Prior to this he feels extremely privileged to have worked for Peter Snow at Cuppa Herefords where his knowledge and experience of cattle that he passed on was greatly appreciated.
Through his involvement with the Beef Industry Barry has held the following positions:-
- Chairman of Stock & Land Beef Week Victoria
- Member of Stud Beef Victoria
- Committee Member of RASV Ltd – Beef Cattle Committee
- Committee Member of Wodonga National Hereford Show & Sale
Barry has also judged at Sydney, Melbourne, Launceston & Adelaide Royal Shows, Dubbo National Poll Hereford Show & Sale, Wodonga National Hereford Show & Sale and Beef Spectacular – Dubbo.
We are looking forward to breeding sound functional cattle that are soft, easy doing, quite natured, that are not only competitive in the show ring but produce progeny that meet the target markets that commercial producers are trying to achieve.
